Growing plants indoors is a great way to add some greenery and natural beauty to your living space, even if you don't have access to an outdoor garden. Here are some basic tips to get you started:
1. Choose the right plants: Not all plants are well-suited to indoor growing. Some plants, such as succulents and tropicals, thrive in low light and high humidity environments.
Others, like herbs and vegetables, need plenty of sunlight to grow. Research the plants you want to grow to ensure they are a good fit for your indoor space.
2. Provide adequate light: Most indoor plants require at least 6 hours of sunlight a day. If your space doesn't receive that much natural light, you can use artificial lighting, such as fluorescent or LED bulbs, to supplement.
3. Water properly: Overwatering or underwatering can be detrimental to plants. Make sure you understand how much water your plants need and how often to water them. Most plants prefer soil that is moist but not waterlogged.
4. Control temperature and humidity: Plants do best in a temperature range of 60-75°F (15-24°C) and with humidity levels between 40-60%. Use a hygrometer to monitor humidity levels and a thermometer to keep an eye on the temperature.
5. Use the right soil and containers: Use a well-draining soil mix and containers with drainage holes to prevent water from accumulating and damaging roots.
6. Fertilize regularly: Indoor plants need regular fertilization to replace the nutrients that are depleted from the soil over time. Use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer and follow the instructions on the label.

With these basic tips, you should be able to successfully grow a variety of plants indoors. Just remember to research the specific needs of the plants you choose and adjust your care accordingly.

When growing, it’s easy to get caught up in the obvious big things: nutrient feeders/bottles, tent and extraction. But what about all the smaller necessities that are so important such as pH testing kits, trays and clamps? This Grow Room Essentials collection will help you organise your growing space to ensure everything is working at its maximum potential.

Odour neutralising gels are designed to eliminate unwanted smells in indoor gardening environments, including hydroponic systems. These gels use a complex mix of essential oils, suspended in a polymer gel, to neutralise and eliminate odours in the air. The essential oils are organically derived from plants from around the world. When exposed to the atmosphere, the particles are released into the air and quickly eliminate odours they come into contact with. The molecules in the gel are released in a controlled manner to ensure maximum effectiveness. It is easy to use and can be placed in various areas of the grow room to help eliminate unwanted smells. However, it is important to note that while effective at neutralising odours, it may not completely eliminate very strong or persistent odours.
