Cutoff time for Priority Delivery is 4pm - If the option is selected after 4pm. We will do everything in our control to get the delivery to you on the next working day.

Please be aware - We aim to get your priority goods to you as quickly as possible, but we regret that on rare occasions, this won't be possible due to courier delays that are out of our control.

Christmas Delivery Information

We will be making deliveries as normal on all days leading up to Christmas apart from the 25th, 26th 27th and 31st. We do advise you get your orders in nice and early though as there could be possible courier delays that are out of our control.

Working days for delivery are Monday - Saturday (orders placed on Sunday will be dispatched MONDAY)

Please note that all delivery times are estimated, as we use 3rd party couriers to deliver your order. Orders placed after 4pm will not be dispatched until the next working day. The estimated delivery times also exclude Sundays and bank holidays. While we do our best to fulfil these times, we cannot be held responsible for any delays that are beyond our control.

If you're purchasing items that are heavy or bulky in size, then you may be subject to a heavy or large item surcharge. This is clearly indicated on the product's description page.

For the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles and Isle of Man, there is usually only one dispatch/delivery time. There is also one delivery price for each of these destinations.

Please be aware that for some larger orders, we may need to send your order by pallet delivery at our discretion. If this is the case then we will contact you separately by telephone or email. This may involve a slight delay in you receiving your goods and may also incur an increased delivery charge.

We're trying our best with courier services to keep media surcharges to a minimum.

Packaging & Delivery

We take extreme care in your privacy, when you buy hydroponic equipment from us items are always packed very discreetly and no mention of our shop name or the type of goods inside will be visible. Goods are sent using a trusted courier service as standard. Items are sent to your door.

If no one is in to receive the goods, then the courier will normally re-attempt delivery twice before returning your order to us. In this instance we may need to charge for re-delivery or cancel the order if you fail to arrange an alternative delivery date with us.

For large and bulky orders, we may need to use a pallet delivery service at our discretion, and there may be a delay of a day or so. If you place a large order of bulky or heavy items, please make sure that you are able to receive delivery by pallet. If you can only receive the delivery by normal carton delivery then there will be an additional charge for which we will invoice you separately.

Delivery Address

Orders can only be shipped to the card-holder's Billing address unless Visa / MasterCard SecureCode / 3D-Secure is used. It is possible that you may wish to have your goods shipped to a different address than the card-account billing address. For these circumstances, we use Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode / 3D-Secure to verify that you are the named card-holder. This policy is in place to help prevent card fraud and theft.

We accept any form of payment for purchases made by cash, cheque or electronic bank transfer. Please note that your order can only be sent once your payment has cleared.

When you first select 'Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode / 3D-Secure' as the preferred payment method, please note that you will be prompted to enter your payment details. For Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode / 3D-Secure transactions, the Billing address will automatically be pre-filled with the address from which your payment was made. If you wish to have your goods shipped to a different address to the Billing address then you must first confirm that you WILL use Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode / 3D-Secure when prompted to do so during the payment procedure. The Secure Code or Verified by Visa service is a free security system that allows you to confirm your identity when you are buying something online or over the phone with your credit or debit card. Before placing an order you will be asked if you would like to use this service. Please tick the box if you want to do so, otherwise please click on cancel order to complete your purchase without using this facility. If you fail to confirm your identity in this way and subsequently place an order, we will refund any money paid and immediately cancel your order. This policy is to help prevent card fraud and theft.

Customer assumes all responsibility for the safe carriage of goods purchased from Prestwich Hydroponics. Any damage or theft occurring during transit is not the responsibility of Prestwich Hydroponics. For example, if you fail to accept delivery from the courier and they leave it on your doorstep with a neighbour/neighbours; this is your responsibility. Prestwich Hydroponics would advise you to take the delivery in person at all times to ensure the safe carriage of your goods.

By selecting the ‘Authorised Shipment release’, you authorise DPD to release packages addressed to you at your address when no one is present to receive the delivery. You will be asked and are required to accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the package after it has been released at the address.

International Delivery

If you require an order to be sent to a country outside the UK & Ireland, we will prepare a quote for you on a bespoke basis. Please email a list of what you require and where you would like it to be shipped to: info@prestwichhydroponics.co.uk. We will then prepare a quote for you along with the cost for shipping.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that it is legal to ship goods that they purchase to the country of destination. We cannot be held liable for any Customs rejections or returns. We cannot be held responsible for any delays to delivery caused by Customs checks. Payment of any charges to Customs authorities are the responsibility of the customer.

Back Orders

In the extremely rare occasion that an item is not in stock, we will place the item onto back order for you and keep you up to date. You can cancel backorders at any time if you would rather not wait. This is usually for larger, more expensive items where we will do everything in our control to get the items to you as soon as possible.

Tax Charges

All prices on the store are displayed with 20% VAT.
