Flexi-pipe is a type of flexible piping that is commonly used in hydroponic systems. In the case of IWS hydroponic systems, flexi-pipe is used to connect the brain-pot to the outer-pots and to connect outer-pots to other outer-pots in the system. This allows nutrient solution to be dispensed to each plant according to the programmed feeding schedule. Flexi-pipe can be purchased by the metre as an additional or replacement part for IWS Standard (non-Pro) hydroponic systems. The flexi-pipe comes in two different internal diameter options: 13mm (standard) or 25mm (pro), depending on the option selected. The flexi-pipe can be used to replace damaged or clogged piping or to create longer piping runs.

Irrigation fittings are an essential component of hydroponic systems, as they connect various parts of the system and allow for the flow of nutrient solution. Fittings may include connectors, elbows, tees, valves, and tubing, among others. The type of fitting used may depend on the specific needs of the system, such as the size and configuration of the grow space, the type of plants being grown, and the desired flow rate and pressure of the nutrient solution. Factors such as durability, compatibility with different materials, and ease of installation should be considered when selecting irrigation fittings for a hydroponic system. Proper installation and maintenance of irrigation fittings is important to prevent leaks or blockages in the system and ensure optimal plant health.
