The Combo Pen P160 Pro has been updated with a modern and sturdy housing. Its key advantage is its analogue EC calibration, which allows calibration to occur without requiring an exact temperature of 25ºC. Unlike pH calibration, which is not affected by temperature, EC calibration solutions are highly sensitive to temperature changes. Additionally, the electrode can be easily replaced if it becomes worn or damaged. This model comes in a durable case and includes pH 4.01, pH 7.00, and EC 14.13 calibration solutions, enabling users to calibrate the meter at a later time.

The Combo Pen P160 Pro is perfect for measuring pH, EC, PPM, TDS, and temperature levels in liquid plant nutrition and water in swimming pools, Jacuzzis, and ponds. The user-friendly buttons make it easy to switch between parameters effortlessly. The meter is delivered fully calibrated and comes with batteries.

To use the meter, simply remove the protective cover, clean the electrode gently with distilled water and dry it off, and press the On/off button to start the meter. Insert the meter upright into the solution up to the edge and stir gently, then wait a few seconds for the correct value to appear on the display. To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, press the Temp/CAL button, and to switch between pH and EC, press the PH/EC button. To switch between EC, TDS, and PPM, make sure the meter is in EC mode and press and hold the PH/EC button for at least 5 seconds to switch parameters. Rinse the electrode with water after use and press the On/off button to turn off the meter.

The electrodes are designed for dry storage, so liquid storage is unnecessary. This package includes the Combo Pen P160 Pro, a storage box, calibration solutions for pH 7.00, pH 4.01, and 14.13, a screwdriver for calibration, and a user manual in Dutch, English, and German.

When growing, it’s easy to get caught up in the obvious big things: nutrient feeders/bottles, tent and extraction. But what about all the smaller necessities that are so important such as pH testing kits, trays and clamps? This Grow Room Essentials collection will help you organise your growing space to ensure everything is working at its maximum potential.

Nutrient meters are devices used in hydroponic systems to measure the nutrient levels in the water. These meters typically measure the electrical conductivity (EC) and pH levels of the nutrient solution, which are crucial factors in plant growth and health. EC meters measure the conductivity of the nutrient solution, which is directly related to the nutrient levels in the water. pH meters measure the acidity or alkalinity of the nutrient solution, which affects the availability of nutrients to the plant roots. Nutrient meters provide growers with real-time data on the nutrient levels in their hydroponic systems, allowing them to adjust the nutrient solution as needed to ensure optimal plant growth and health. Some nutrient meters are handheld, while others can be permanently installed in the hydroponic system for continuous monitoring.
